With Maggie's arrival, as expected, we were seeing a lot less of Ryan. He had stayed the night with Lynn, Lindsay and Maggie again. As Connor's game today wasn't until the afternoon they decided to take the opportunity to visit the Vancouver Zoo which is actually near Aldergrove. They were all pleasantly surprised to discover that it was quite extensive with very big enclosures for the animals and a wide range of animals on exhibit, not just those found in North America.
Ryan was especially pleased to find snow white Arctic Wolves and an Arctic Fox. Another highlight of the visit was to experience snow falling from a clear sky which quickly turned to water when it hit the ground.
